The latest Toy World recruitment round-up – new roles added

Playmobil, Tomy and James Galt are the latest companies looking to fill vacancies through Toy World’s popular recruitment section.

Playmobil is on the hunt for a Territory Sales Manager – South and South West England. The company is  looking for a professional who can quickly absorb and retain product knowledge. The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training for two weeks, and then take over management of their area (from Cornwall to Berkshire and up to West Glamorgan to Buckinghamshire).

With a competitive fixed salary, bonus and a company car, Playmobil says the roile will suit someone with: proven experience in a multi-channel retail sales environment, effective communication skills via face to face, telephone and email, the ability to analyse sales and territory, the ability to produce sales reports and who is able to build relationships with buyers and internal staff.

Tomy currently has an exciting opportunity for a National Account Manager to join itsSales Team. Reporting to the UK Sales Director, the succesful candidate will lead all Tomy efforts internally and externally to retain and develop their portfolio of clients.

The company requires two years’ successful experience of working in toy, games or similar consumer goods markets, and says a resilient individual who is not afraid of setbacks or difficult scenarios would fit the bill. This is a full-time (37.5 hours) field-based role with occasional travel to Tomy office locations and a  competitive salary of approximately £40,000 per annum is on offer, depending on experience, plus benefits including a quarterly bonus scheme, car allowance and private medical care.

Meanwhile James Galt is seeking a Marketing Manager to develop and implement omnichannel marketing plans for the core brands in the UK and be responsible for the consumer and trade marketing budget.

Reporting to the Sales Director, candidates should have a proven track record in a strategic brand or marketing role (ideally from a FMCG background – toys/games desirable) as well as proven experience creating brand engagement through PR, email, social media, brand content and other communication channels. The role is located in the North West, within commuter distance to Cheadle, Cheshire.

The company is also seeking a Marketing Operations Manager – a well-rounded marketeer who has a thorough understanding of all aspects of the marketing process including digital, traditional, social, both content and product lifecycle.
