Hasbro is seeking a category licensing manager, with a focus on Hardlines (eg: Toys, Games, Arts & Crafts, FMCG, Party/Stationery) to join its UK Consumer Products team within the EMEA region.

Responsible for the business development of brand and category strategic plans to ensure the continued growth and expansion of the UK Consumer Products programme, the role will include category strategy, licensee management and category specific retail sales and marketing.

The successful candidate will lead the negotiation of contracts and possess outstanding stakeholder management skills, acting as an ambassador of relationships across the licensee base, able to deliver on the execution of plans via competitive knowledge, positive relationships and best-in-class product execution.

The role will require leadership and management of the category segment across the vast portfolio of Hasbro brands including Peppa Pig, Nerf, Playdoh, My Little Pony, Monopoly and many more. Proactive collaboration and co-ordination with other segments of the business will also be required for an integrated and cohesive approach.

Candidates should be proven and proactive salespeople with an energetic and enthusiastic attitude, ideally from toys or related categories; however, candidates from other categories with a good level of sales experience and a proven track record in building strong relationships with retail accounts may be considered.
