Wow! Stuff’s Nano Pods claim top spot

Published on: 31st March 2023

The collectible Nano Pods shot straight to No. 1 in Amazon’s Hot New Releases for the Bobblehead Figures category.

Toy innovation company Wow! Stuff is rounding off a successful Q1 with its patent-pending, connectible collectible brand Nano Pods taking the hot spot in its Amazon category.

Within 48 hours of the brand’s launch on Amazon, Nano Pods was number one in the eCommerce giant’s list of Hot New Releases for the Bobblehead Figures category and in the top 50 across all Toys & Games, overtaking a bestselling range of pop culture collectibles.

Wow! Stuff’s head of Product Development, Kenny McAndrew, commented: “To be sitting alongside the giants of the collectibles world is testament to the innovation that the Wow! Stuff team has brought to this sector. Nano Pods is now on trend for ‘down-sizing’ to all things small and has made displaying collectible fandoms a whole lot more exciting. What’s more, the slot-together system allows fans of character brands to collect, connect and display in any manner of shapes, patterns or even word spellings.”

Nano Pods are collectible connectible hexagonal pods that house kids’ favourite superheroes and iconic character brands, such as Marvel, Disney, Harry Potter and DC, in blind boxes. Listed in toy shops and grocers alike, the brand has also received the biggest uptake at retail globally for Wow! Stuff to date. With a heavyweight UK marketing campaign just launching, the fanbase has been growing exponentially since hitting UK shelves last month.

Commenting on recent Linkedin posts, showing near-empty Nano Pods CDUs, Wow! Stuff president Richard North said: “It’s hugely gratifying to see Nano Pods looking incredibly well-shopped after 18 months of product development and all the hard work behind the scenes.”

Next month will see Mattel launch Nano Pods in the US, Europe and Australasia. To find out more about the brand, contact Wow! Stuff’s emma.prendaglia@wowstuff.com for UK and EMEA, or sunny.walia@wowstuff.com for US.
