Lego Overwatch expands with two new sets

Published on: 2nd July 2019

Overwatch is one of the fastest growing digital games in the world with more than 40m active players.

Fans of Blizzard’s hit game Overwatch can now build Lego versions of Junkrat, Roadhog and Hammond the Hamster, along with their vehicles, thanks to two new Lego sets. The sets will be on display at San Diego Comic-Con later this month at the Blizzard Entertainment booth, before they become publicly available in October.

A fan favourite, Wrecking Ball is piloted by Hammond, a resourceful hamster who pops up from the cockpit of the Lego Overwatch Wrecking Ball Building Kit just like he does in the game. With Quad Cannons and four extractable limbs that fold out when transforming into the mech toy, youngsters will enjoy playing with this instantly recognisable model and Overwatch character. The model is ideal for display once complete, meaning older fans will be able to show off their passion for the game.

Overwatch fans can also build a part of Junkertown out of Lego bricks with the Junkrat & Roadhog set. This play set features the iconic crime duo from Overwatch; Roadhog comes as a large, highly-detailed BigFig with his Chain Hook and Scrap Gun, while the minifigure Junkrat has his iconic peg-leg and Frag Launcher. The set features authentic character details such as the yellow chopper bike and display diorama inspired by the Junkertown map.
