Published on: 11th October 2019

The specialist online toy retailer has launched its greatly improved new website to a positive reception.

BargainMax.co.uk, an online toy retailer with a focus on providing toys and games at value prices, has unveiled its new website in plenty of time for Black Friday.

The new site offers enhanced functionality for a far more user-friendly shopping experience, with Apple Pay now available alongside the option to spread the cost of your purchase interest-free. As it stands, BargainMax.co.uk is the only specialist toy retailer to offer this service. Customers will also be able to make use of the company’s new next day click & collect option; available free of charge on purchases of £15 or more, there are 4,000 collection points to choose from. This service will be launching in the coming weeks.

Since launching two weeks ago, the website has seen a 22% increase in conversion rates, with traffic and sales expected to increase dramatically on Black Friday and in the run-up to Christmas. Brand awareness and consumer confidence are at an all-time high according to the company, with content on social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram helping to engage and retain consumers. This approach has also led to a 43% increase in YoY sales for Q3.

Alex Woolfstein, senior buyer at BargainMax.co.uk, told Toy World: “We knew that the website needed to be updated to stay ahead of the trend, and we feel that the new one is both visually stunning and incredibly easy to use. The aesthetic element was really important to us throughout the redevelopment. We also put a big focus on using the latest technology to make sure the website runs as fast as possible, while maintaining the infrastructure so the site is as strong as possible – especially in advance of what we anticipate will be a huge Black Friday for us.”
