Gary Grant celebrates his 60th birthday

Published on: 17th September 2018

Employees gathered at The Entertainer’s head office for a party to celebrate Gary’s big day.

Gary Grant, founder and CEO of the toy retailer The Entertainer, has marked his 60th birthday in style with a lively party at the company’s Amersham head office.

To kick off the event, each department had recorded video messages for Gary which were played before a delightful video of messages from his grandchildren stole the show.

Party food ranged from burgers to paella, and a Lego themed birthday cake – made by Gary’s wife Catherine – wowed the partygoers. A jazz band serenaded Gary with a rendition of Happy Birthday, and there were party bags for employees to take away which included goodies from Flair, Mattel, Spinmaster and Topps, and commemorative badges.

Lego had even created a Lego Jack – the store’s mascot – which was presented to Gary on the day, and the event was captured with a fun photo booth and book of messages for Gary to read later on.

Toy World would like to wish Gary all the best.
