Quercetti appoints Kids International Marketing

Published on: 19th November 2018

Quercetti, a manufacturer of developmental toys for children, has appointed K.I.M. to manage its UK & Ireland retail sales.

Wendy Wood (formerly Yarwood) manages K.I.M’s UK & Ireland sales and is excited by the new opportunities that the company will be offering retailers.

She commented: “Quercetti was founded over 60 years ago and offers some classic toys, whose intrinsic play value is undiminished. However, new management in the company has recognised how Quercetti will fit in the toy business of the 21st century. STEM relevance is just one of the strengths of Quercetti products. Strong new product and a good understanding of how to market the brand to consumers is now driving the company forward. We are looking forward to engaging with retail partners who are looking to establish a point of difference in their offering.”

K.I.M will focus initially on how to maximise retail margins. With every product made in Italy, the company sees how the Quercetti brand competes with direct imports from Asia in terms of quality, price, margin delivery, shorter lead-times, currency control and exclusivity.

Quercetti will be presenting in The Royal Garden Hotel in Hong Kong between 7th-11th January and at Spielwarenmesse 2019 in Hall 5-C58.
