Gibsons announces centenary lucky ticket campaign

Published on: 8th January 2019

2019 marks 100 years since the British family business first began trading.

Originally a games company, Gibsons first introduced jigsaw puzzles to its range in the 1980s and now, almost 40 years later, is proud to be the No.1 performing manufacturer in adult puzzles*. Gibsons’ vast range now holds over 400 products, with jigsaw puzzles available in six different piece counts.

To celebrate its centenary and to thank its loyal puzzle fans, the Gibsons team has hidden 100 lucky tickets inside puzzle boxes. If a lucky ticket is found, the recipient will be rewarded with a free 1000 piece puzzle of their choice.** What’s more, there is one extra special ticket to found, which will reward the recipient with a year’s supply of jigsaw puzzles.

Kate Gibson, MD of Gibsons, commented: “This is a huge year for us and we wanted to do something special to say thank you to our fabulous jigsaw fans. The 100 tickets mark the 100 years that we have been in business. As well as releasing some wonderful designs this year, Gibsons 1000 piece puzzles have the thickest board on the UK market so are the perfect treat for puzzlers. Good luck everyone.”
