Eugy proves popularity of eco-friendly toys at Spring Fair

Published on: 6th February 2019

Brainstorm launched the brand new eco-friendly craft toy at London Toy Fair last month to a ‘fantastic’ reception.

Fast forward to February and Spring Fair, and the New Zealand innovation is appealing to a diverse group of buyers. Not only is Eugy made of 100% recyclable materials, it also spans multiple categories as a unique craft toy and impulse collectible.

Debra Tiffany, marketing manager at Brainstorm, commented: “Our attendance at Spring Fair allows us to tap into different retail channels due to the varied retailers visiting Hall 5, and Eugy has joined the trend towards eco-friendly products. We know that as an industry we have to make more conscious efforts towards sustainability, and Eugy is a product that ticks all the boxes.”

Created in New Zealand by Dodoland, Eugy is a craft collectible that allows children to create their own 3D models using environmentally friendly, biodegradable card printed with natural eco-friendly inks. The simple numerical sequence assembly belies the intricate creations children can make – a collection of cute animals and creatures including dinosaur, panda, elephant and more.
