Published on: 7th February 2019

Moose Toys has kicked off 2019 by confirming the appointment of the global industry executive.

In April, Glenn will begin his new role as president and general manager for Moose Toys, responsible for the United States market. Based in Los Angeles, Glenn will be accountable for all facets of the USA business and will be a member of the Moose Toys senior leadership team, which is responsible for global commercial strategy and product development direction.

“I’m very excited to be joining the team at Moose in April,” said Glenn. “Over the years, Moose has proven itself as an innovative, entrepreneurial and fast moving company with expertise across several categories. Since entering the US market directly, the company’s growth has been amazing. I’m looking forward to joining a very capable and talented team in Los Angeles to be a part of the company’s evolution.”

He added: “Being a family owned business with a tremendous culture was a major factor in my decision to join. In addition, the ability to help children in need through the Moose Foundation is something that is very close to my heart. On the commercial side, I’m looking forward to contributing to the growth agenda. All in all, a very exciting road lies ahead.”

Glenn has spent the last 16 years working for The Lego Group, where he held various positions within general management, sales and marketing in the United States, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom. His most recent role was head of global e-commerce for Lego Retail looking after the group’s owned digital commerce platform, shop.Lego.com.

Paul Solomon, co-owner of Moose Toys, commented: “We are so excited to have Glenn join our team. We know that he will bring his creative mind, market knowledge and insights from many years in the toy industry, and with this, he will be instrumental in helping us achieve our future business goals.”
