Rainbow appoints Michael Block as new CEO of Witty Toys

Michael will drive the vision of the group forward, continuing decades of extensive experience and achievements in the toy industry.

Italy-based global entertainment specialist Rainbow has announced that former partner and director at Toy Plus and previous senior Hasbro executive Michael Block will join the group as new CEO of Witty Toys, the toy company established and run by Rainbow since 2008.

With a proven track record as an executive and entrepreneur in the management of growing brands, Michael will drive the vision of the group forward, continuing decades of extensive experience and achievements in the toy industry.

“I’m really excited to join the Rainbow family and bring my expertise to Witty Toys. I look forward to exploring new opportunities and to developing new projects, while facing the challenges the competitive and dynamic toy industry offers,” Michael said.

Prior to taking up this key role at Witty Toys, Michael has been running a consulting business, served as a director of Greenmonkey Yoga and was advisor to Real Eats. He was previously a partner and director of Toy Plus and director of Smart Christmas Solutions. For over 14 years, he held senior management and international sales and marketing roles at Hasbro.

Michael is also an active philanthropist and leader, deeply committed to addressing issues of insecurity, hunger, and homelessness. He currently serves on the board of directors of several nonprofits, including Voices for Children Foundation, Feeding South Florida and Swipe Out Hunger.
