Playmobil has unveiled its 2020 Christmas advent calendar assortment. Each 24-door calendar contains a range of figures, accessories and vehicles, while the box can then be folded out to create a scenic backdrop.

There are five different Christmas-themed calendars to choose from. Christmas in the Forest, Santa’s Workshop, Christmas Toy Store and Christmas Ball are all priced at sub-£25, while the sub-£50 jumbo Family Christmas advent calendar lets kids build a two-storey doll house complete with furnishings and stickers for decoration. After Christmas, the labels can be removed so that the house can also be used in neutral form all year round.

Animal lovers can choose from the Farm or Horse Farm calendars, each of which includes an assortment of cute and collectible animal figures and accessories, such as food for the horses or farm animals and wheelbarrows for transport.

Those seeking adventure will enjoy the Pirate Cove Treasure Hunt, Construction Site Fire Rescue and Novelmore: Battle for the Magic Stone calendars. Behind every door are exciting figures or accessories perfect for imaginative adventure play.

Rounding out the 2020 Christmas advent calendar range is the Stunt Show, which lets adrenaline junkies collect cars, trucks and motorcycles as part of an impressive stunt set. Fire barrels, ramps, riders/drivers, pit crew, barriers and other themed accessories will allow kids to experience a thrilling countdown to Christmas.
