Styx, Lord of Hounds is the latest champion expansion for Godtear, available to order now and due to hit shelves on 12th August.

Steamforged Games has announced the launch of Styx, Lord of Hounds, the latest champion expansion for Godtear, the miniatures skirmish game that puts two players head-to-head on a hex-based board. Due to arrive at retail in August this year, the champion expansion contains everything needed to add Styx and his followers to any Godtear game.

Passionate about delivering premium tabletop experiences and accessories, inspired by modern gaming philosophy and technology, Steamforged Games is known for licensed titles such as Dark Souls: The Card Game, Devil May Cry: The Bloody Palace, Horizon Zero Dawn: The Board Game and Pac-Man: The Card Game, as well as original IPs such as Godtear, Epic Encounters and Bardsung.

The expansion contains highly detailed, pre-assembled miniatures that can be painted or played out-of-the-box. Styx himself is a faceless figure in macabre armour and is accompanied by two Abyssal Hound followers and a three-headed puppy banner, sculpted by Steamforged Games’ lead sculptor Russ Charles, creator of Animal Adventures, Tales of Dungeons and Doggies.

Styx is the 17th Godtear Champion Expansion that Steamforged Games has released, and the fourth Shaper in the set. The Styx Champion Expansion expands any Godtear starter kit, and contains: 1 Styx miniature, 2 Abyssal Hounds miniatures, 1 Styx’s banner miniature and profile cards for Styx and his hounds.

The miniatures are pre-assembled and coloured green to indicate Styx’s Shaper champion class.

Retailers can order now from Steamforged Games. The expansion is available for pre-order on May 10th and will be on shelves from August 2nd.
