Halilit’s Ukrainian supplier of Dodo puzzles looks to the future

Published on: 28th March 2022

Dobra Firma, which manufactures Halilit’s range of Dodo puzzles and has been caught up in the conflict in Ukraine, issues an update.

After an incredibly difficult couple of weeks for the Ukrainian company, Halilit is thankful to announce that the team has told them it is now safe and planning its strategy to secure the company’s future. The games and puzzles manufacturer which is based in Kharkiv, Ukraine, has been able to secure safe passage of its stock over to the company’s warehouse in Poland and is currently making the difficult journey as regularly as possible to ensure that stock for the European market is plentiful and that it can continue supply with minimal disruption.

Having spoken with the team via video call, Halilit was relieved to hear that everybody was safe and well, and said it was humbled by the resourceful and resilient nature of the Dodo team. “Although surrounded by the most atrocious of circumstances, the company is adamant that it want supply to continue ‘as normal’ and is doing the utmost to ensure that its loyal staff have a future once this war is over,” explained Judith Stark, MD of Halilit. “They refuse to let the events of the past few weeks detract from what they have built into a popular puzzles and games brand, and are keen to continue building on the success they have seen so far here in the UK.”

Halilit will be taking the Dodo collection to the upcoming INDX and Toymaster shows, and invites retailers to visit them to find out exactly why this fun puzzle brand is performing so well across Europe.

Dodo puzzles, games and activities have been designed for children age 18 months and up. With beautiful and fun designs, the puzzles offer everything from simple 2-piece puzzles for little ones up to more challenging 100 piece puzzles for older children. Many puzzles in the collection have added activities to add to the fun and learning opportunities.
