Exclusive: Exciting times at Click Distribution

Published on: 2nd September 2022

Click Distribution’s COO Luke Hillier and brother Lewi, Sales & Operations director, tell Toy World about their plans for the coming months.

2022 is shaping up to be a good year for collectibles specialist Click Distribution and we hear how the pocket money segment of its core business has been particularly strong.

There has been huge growth in Panini’s Premier League Adrenalyn X collection, while Panini’s World Cup sticker collection is also eagerly awaited, with more retailers for this range than ever before.

Click’s successes also include Pet Simulator X, which has surpassed all expectations and is expected to grow even stronger, and there is much anticipation surrounding Poppy Playtime, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach.

The brothers tell us how Click has also established a successful separate operation in Ireland and expanded its capacity in its warehousing and fulfilment operation, with a fourth depot planned for 2023.

“It’s an exciting time – in 2021 we grew the business by 448%, and we are expecting further growth,” they tell Toy World.

Click has also partnered with Moose Toys and Luke and Lewi explain how, as from 1st September, they are now stocking the full range of Moose products.

However, along with all the positivity at Click, the cost-of-living crisis is causing a headache over price points, with price increases being made as a necessity. Despite the increases, they say pocket money toys have seen “unbelievable growth” this year and Click’s range in this area has been expanded to take advantage of this.

They also say that due to kids’ viewing habits changing, such as with the growth of YouTube, they are having to adapt and understand what kids want and spend a great deal of time tracking this information.
