The Entertainer unleashes latest Fugglers

Published on: 14th April 2023

The Laboratory Misfits Edition is the newest launch from the plush brand and is made up of ten new Fugglers.

The Entertainer has announced the newest launch of Fugglers with the Laboratory Misfits Edition, which are set to hit shelves this month.

Bursting with personality and unique quirks, the Laboratory Misfit Edition features ten Fugglers. The Entertainer describes the latest iteration of the quirky characters as follows: “After some harmless experimentation at the Fuggler Lab, these terrible tricksters have exploded out of their test tubes, fart blasted the scientists and gone skinny dipping into vats full of unknown liquids. They’re now creating even more of a mess than normal with their wacky colours and weird markings.”

The new plush will be available at The Entertainer stores across the UK from Thursday 20th April, and the range includes an all-new take on the much-loved Fuggler characters including Wide Eyed Weirdo, Sir Belch and Gaptooth McGoo. Taking on their own personality and life-ruining traits in a variety of different colours and patterns, this new variant of monsters will retail at £15 each.

Fugglers were founded in 2010 by a British woman known as Mrs. McGettric, who created the concept after encountering individual denture teeth and envisioning them as looking funny on teddy bears.

“The Fuggler brand has grown an impressive fan base since it was first released in 2010, and we are expecting the Laboratory Misfit Edition to be incredibly popular,” commented Andrew Turner, head of Marketing at The Entertainer. “As such a fun, unique toy, we’re thrilled to be adding 10 new, perfectly imperfect faces to our existing collections and hope Fuggler fans, big and small, will enjoy the all-new range.”

The Laboratory Misfit Edition Fugglers are available to pre-order online at www.thetoyshop.com now and will be available in-store at The Entertainer from 20th April 2023.
