MGA details proceedings for L.O.L. Day on July 7th

Published on: 6th July 2021

MGA Entertainment is hosting the event for L.O.L. Surprise! fans in the UK with a digital party packed full of surprises.

The global celebration will be hosted by TikTok sensation Pressley Hosbach featuring That Girl Lay Lay, the 13-year-old hip-hop and rap artist, singing her biggest hits.

As reported last month, L.O.L. Day will take place on 7th July, in what MGAE is billing as “summer’s biggest party” – and all L.O.L. Surprise! fans, parents of L.O.L. Surprise! fans and friends are invited.

The digital event will include seven competitions running across L.O.L. Surprise! UK channels at seven minutes past the hour, starting from 9:07am until 03.07pm on the day. The competitions will be open for two days, to give fans who may miss the live competitions the chance to enter.

The day will also be celebrated with retailer integrations, plus influencer and celebrity product reveals from celebrity parents Emma Bunton, Ferne McCann, Dan Osborne, Amy Childs and Luisa Zissman throughout the day.

Fans will be treated to new gaming updates dropping on the popular L.O.L. Surprise! Roblox game, amplified by partnerships with social media and YouTube influencers Anna Saccone and Dad vs Girls, as well as trending gamers Amberry, Tiana and Yammy.

Fans of the brand will be encouraged to head over to the US social channels to continue the celebrations. The global celebration will be hosted by TikTok sensation Pressly Hosbach featuring That Girl Lay Lay, 13-year-old hip-hop and rap artist singing her biggest hits. Other special guests include Big Will and his crew, launching the world premiere of the Somewhere in Between dance video exclusively for L.O.L. fans. The show promises to be packed full of surprises, featuring immersive technology, trivia and a reveal of the biggest, most fierce and fabulous global L.O.L. Surprise! fans.

“7.07 is LOL Surprise! Day, a momentous occasion that everyone at L.O.L. Surprise! looks forward to all year round. This is the day we take time to really celebrate our fans, our individuality, our inclusiveness and of course the fierce fun that L.O.L. inspires. We have gone above and beyond to make the concert an immersive unique experience because we all know L.O.L. is great, but it’s better with all of our fans together,” said CEO and co-founder Isaac Larian.

Parents can register in advance for free tickets at LOLSurprise.com/LOLDay, where they will receive a one-use link to watch live on Looped’s platform at 5pm BST on 7th July 2021.
