Paw Patrol on the road brings pup power to kids this summer

Published on: 11th August 2023

Paw Patrol On The Road, a new experiential event, sees a supersized, immersive Paw Patroller hit the road this summer, appearing at Gloworm Festival and multiple Smyths Toys locations.

In its 10th anniversary year, Paw Patrol, produced by Spin Master Entertainment and airing on Nickelodeon, has announced Paw Patrol On The Road, the first ever life-sized Paw Patroller where Paw fans can experience their own missions. Throughout August and September, the impressive, custom-made Paw Patroller will be travelling the length and breadth of the country, delighting fans along the way by inviting them to step inside.

The first stop will be at this year’s 8th annual Gloworm Festival, taking place on 12th and 13th August in Nottinghamshire. Following its debut at Gloworm,  Paw Patrol will be back on the road, pulling up at 10 selected Smyths Toys Superstores across England, Scotland and Wales.

Paw Patrol fans can jump onboard where they will be briefed on their mission: to help Chickaletta find her lost egg. Kids will then have three activities to complete on board the Paw Patroller, adding stickers to their free mission booklet as they achieve each one. After all three activities are complete, it’s time to slide off the Paw Patroller into a ball pit. Then, kids can hunt for Chickaletta’s egg inside the Smyths Toys Superstore store and claim their free Paw Patrol mask.

There are multiple chances to snap a selfie throughout the experience, from sitting on a life-sized Ryder ATV to posing with the Marshall costume character, who will be appearing every hour on the hour throughout the day at every event.

Attendees will also be amongst the first to play with the new Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie toys from Spin Master. The latest range includes figures, vehicles and play sets, and showcases the pups’ new mighty looks ahead of their second big screen adventure. Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie, which hits cinemas on 13th October.

Caroline Daly, chief marketing officer, Smyths Toys Superstore, said: “We’re so excited to be part of the ‘pawsome’ Paw Patrol tour, in collaboration with Spin Master and Paramount Consumer Products. We can’t wait to see everyone’s favourite characters come to life.”

Becca Hanlon, senior brand manager at Spin Master, added: “2023 marks Paw Patrol’s 10th anniversary and we are definitely celebrating in style by creating the first ever life-sized Paw Patroller for little ones to jump onboard and enjoy. We’re delighted to be partnering with Smyths and Paramount Consumer Products on this activity and can’t wait to see the joy on pre-schoolers faces as the Paw Patroller pulls up at their local toy store.”

Simta Sawhney, senior director of Licensing at Paramount, commented: “Paw Patrol On The Road is the perfect way to allow kids and families to engage even more with their favourite pups. We’re thrilled to be partnering with Spin Master and Smyths Toys Superstores on this incredible tour.”
