Yu-Gi-Oh! Legendary Collection: 25th Anniversary Edition now available

Konami Digital Entertainment announced yesterday that the Legendary Collection: 25th Anniversary Edition has been released.

The very first Legendary Collection is one of the most popular collector’s sets for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, and it has made a return to celebrate the silver anniversary of the card game. The new set also introduces a new rarity to the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG.

The Legendary Collection: 25th Anniversary Edition contains six of the most famous and beloved Booster Packs from the early years of the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG: Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon, Metal Raiders, Spell Ruler, Pharaoh’s Servant, Dark Crisis and Invasion of Chaos.

It also comes with six Ultra Rare special variant cards, featuring the highly requested and sought-after original Egyptian God card promos: Obelisk the Tormentor, Slifer the Sky Dragon, The Winged Dragon of Ra, Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Dark Magician and Red-Eyes Black Dragon.

The Legendary Collection: 25th Anniversary Edition has a special bonus 7th card revealing a new rarity for the TCG, created for the anniversary: The Quarter Century Secret Rare.

Each Legendary Collection: 25th Anniversary Edition set will include one random Quarter Century Secret Rare version of one of the six special variant cards to give Duelists a taste of what’s to come as part of the celebrations.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG is available across the globe, with products distributed in more than 80 countries and nine languages, to fans of all ages.

Yu-Gi-Oh! also hosts a World Championships which will be held this year on August 5th-6th at the Tokyo Big Sight (Tokyo International Exhibition Center) in Japan.
