Get involved in the May issue of Toy World

Published on: 18th March 2021

Everything you need to know about the May issue of Toy World, how you can get involved and the deadlines to make a note of.

The team has already started making preparations for our next edition, which will include a comprehensive category feature on Dolls & Girls Collectibles, as well as regular features such as Talking Shop, Viewpoint, Letter from America and Allegedly.

The May issue of Toy World will also be a ‘Licensing Special’ edition, featuring a bumper extended Licensing World section, which will be open to both licensors and licensees. There will be a dedicated section which focuses on licensed properties, and a separate section featuring character licensed merchandise. For licensors, with BLE still over six months away, the May issue gives you the chance to shine a spotlight on your characters and brands, putting them in front of the decision-makers in the kids’ space.  For licensees, this feature will give you the opportunity to highlight the new licensed ranges which will be hitting the market between May and the end of the year.

Finally, following the decision by the Toymaster team not to hold a physical show this year (you can read more on that here), we will be running a special ‘Show Off’ feature in the May issue of Toy World, which will focus on the specialist toy retail channel and Toymaster in particular. This feature will give suppliers the chance to showcase their new introductions to every single toy indie, to help them decide which lines to support and invest in for the remainder of 2021.

The deadline for editorial in the May issue will be the 1st April, and the deadline for adverts will be the 14th April.
