Outgoing MD Terry Crew hails the move an exciting time for the company as Guy Rooney takes the reins and helps to drive the business forwards.
Pat Avenue UK has announced that Guy Rooney will become managing director from 3rd April. The move comes as current MD, Terry Crew, steps into a part time role, remaining a director within the business.
Terry joined the company in 2019 when international toy manufacturer Pat Avenue completed the acquisition of DKL Marketing. During his four year tenure, he successfully managed the integration of DKL into the newly formed Pat Avenue UK Ltd and the introduction of several new brands, which were highlighted at the recent London Toy Fair. The company’s brands include Battle Heads, Hama, Keyriders, Breyer and Mascutties.
Guy Rooney joined the team in January 2023 as commercial director in preparation to take over the position of managing director.
Terry commented: “This is really exciting times for the company and is a great period for Guy to assume the reins and help drive the business forwards. I have really enjoyed these past few years and look forward to offering any assistance as and when it is needed.”
Guy added: “I am absolutely delighted to be confirmed as MD and am looking forward to a successful future with Pat Avenue. I would like to thank Terry for all his hard work in the transition period and pulling together a fantastic team.”
