Magic Box shares next stage of UK & Ireland development

Published on: 21st September 2021

Enjoying ongoing European success and already in the process of choosing a UK office, Magic Box is looking to assemble a new team.

Nicola Bergot

As part of ambitious global growth plans, Magic Box will shortly open its first UK & Ireland office. Nicola Bergot will lead this next phase of the company’s UK development, as new ranges are introduced for Spring 22.

Nicola has assumed the role of business consultant, reporting to Jose Vicente Savall – Global Commercial and Marketing director and will also be supported by industry expert Foye Pascoe, who is acting in an advisory capacity.

The company that developed GoGo Crazy Bones, Zomlings, and the first Spice Girls photo album, Magic Box has a proven history of creating trends and inventing new concepts.

The team is in the process of choosing an office in the Gatwick area of Southern England and will be looking for ambitious people to join its small set up. Magic Box is a dynamic, creative toy company which owns, develops and markets all its own IP and has 25 years of success in the European toy market under its belt.

Still enjoying success with Super Things, which is now in its 4th year, just last month the company launched Series 8 of Kazoom Kids, supported by a full marketing campaign.

This summer, Magic Box also introduced the completely new concept T-Racers, designed to revolutionise the way kids play with cars. Initially with eight to collect, each car can be taken apart providing over 500 Mix & Race combinations. With a range of four complementary higher priced playsets, T-Racers gives endless play possibilities.

“We have already seen some fantastic results and there will be a full marketing programme in the final quarter with TV, YouTube, eebisodes, and influencer activity,” said Nicola. “Series 2 launches in Spring 2022.”

Spring 2022 will also see the launch of KookyLoos mini dolls. KookyLoos Express Yourself is a range of 12 Dolls, each with three different facial expressions that can be changed with a simple click, plus a collection of mix’n’match accessories to discover, hidden in little paper envelopes. These can be used to create each dolls fashion look. Two mini playsets complete the opening range, and a full marketing campaign will support the spring launch.

“We believe in the power of great product and great people and are committed to working closely with our retail partners to build success together,” added Nicola.
